Message	because the tailpipe sniffer is so many feet from the source of the combustion, that the time it takes to get to the tailpipe means that the reading is behind. In otherwords, if you have a reading of 11.1 at 4,000rpm, you actually have 11.1 at 3,600 rpm. The tail pipe reading lags. In my experience, the tail pipe sniffer lags about 400 to 500 rpm. Petz #3
